My love of photography began on a school trip to Paris when I was 13. The rest of my class couldn't wait to get to the top of the Eiffel Tower to take their pictures, but I was far more interested in standing underneath, clutching hold of my Dad's standard issue 70's camera, trying to fit the towering steel structure into my tiny view finder, and even more importantly the '100 ans' lights denoting its centenary year. This was the beginning of a life long obsession with both composition and seeing things from the bottom up. I also particularly love to seek out the beauty of the quirky, unexpected and forgotten.

In terms of kit, I use everything from my Canon 6D to a vintage Pentax SLR and even my iPhone.
